I am very happy and proud to inform our friends and students that another member of our family is joining the Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain® teaching staff. My granddaughter, Sophie Bahari Bomeisler, who graduated in 2021 from the University of Surrey in England, will be teaching our intensive DRSB five-day Drawing Workshops in New York City.
Sophie has been drawing since she was a young child. She grew up in New York City surrounded by the DRSB classes taught by her father, my son Brian Bomeisler. She absorbed the teaching methods as well as expanding her own drawing skills. As a result, she draws beautifully herself and is proficient in all the methods Brian and I have developed for teaching beginners in art how to draw.
It is wonderful to know that Sophie will be carrying on our family tradition of teaching drawing with techniques developed more than 40 years ago. These techniques have helped millions learn to draw by tapping into the power of their “right brains.” I have every confidence that Sophie’s prospective students will achieve success in drawing.
I am so proud of both my granddaughters, Sophie and her younger sister Francesca, as they have grown up to embrace their own special skills and abilities.
