DRAWING PROGRESSION

The gallery of drawings below were all made by one student, Harry, during the the five-day DRSB Online Workshop, taught by Brian Bomeisler in September 2022. The workshop was held online, with careful instruction and different exercises practiced every day. Ultimately, Harry went from his first attempt at a self-portrait to the beautifully rendered self-portrait in the final image. Brian taught him using techniques pioneered by Betty Edwards from her acclaimed book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
