Balboa Park in San Diego is ever changing and always amazing. Where culture, science, and nature collide, Balboa Park is home to more than 16 museums, multiple performing arts venues, lovely gardens, trails, and many other creative and recreational attractions. We will be sketching sculptures in the park and sketching in a museum.

The only prerequisite to participate in this workshop is to have attended a DRSB 5-Day Workshop, or to have prior drawing experience.  Before the Workshop, please familiarize chapters 7 and 8 in Betty Edwards’ book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.  Students will learn the special skills of sketching, and will tour the park and a museum, sketching sculptures and architectural details with instructor Brian Bomeisler, son of Betty Edwards.

We will meet in front of the Natural History Museum at 1788 El Prado at 10am.
